Naut Lu

Name - Nout lu (နောက်လူ) Profile - Among the various categories of photography, I am drawn to street photography, often referred to as candid photography. I have chosen to use this medium as a powerful tool to express my resistance against the military dictatorship that emerged after the 2021 coup in Myanmar. Since the military coup on February 1, 2021, I have dedicated myself as a comrade in the fight for justice and freedom. Along this journey, I’ve captured the raw and powerful moments of resistance fighters as they stand against the oppression of the Burma military. As one of them, I strive to document the realities of life on the frontlines, portraying the courage, hardship, and determination of those fighting for a free future. I currently live in the conflict areas of Kayah (Karenni) State. I’d love to share my photos with viewers around the world in any way that best fits, ensuring they reach a global audience and resonate with people from all walks of life.
