Gravity Does Not Hold Me Here

This visual series reflects the paradox of longing to be free while standing beneath the weight of the transition to that very freedom. For me, autonomy is not granted by systems or control; I had to claim internally, in the body, in the voice, in the act of continuing. Each portrait is a statement about my lived experiences, suggesting that freedom is not always something given, but something emotionally negotiated.
